New Good Sports resources to help maintain healthy and family friendly environments
Gain tools and knowledge to develop a best practice approach to safe transport, alcohol and smoking management with a particular focus on the mental health learning modules
Information on local support services to assist your sporting club
Information about logging in to the new Good Sports platform on your phone, tablet, or computer.

NEW ON-LINE COURSE - Completed in your own time at home
*****This course is only for people volunteering in sport or active recreation clubs in the City of Onkaparinga.*****

The RSA Course (SITHFAB202) is a legislative requirement for all persons serving alcohol. Successful completion of this RSA course will result in the participant being awarded with a recognised RSA Statement of Attainment, which must be used when applying to Consumer & Business Services (CBS) for a Responsible Person’s Badge.
The learning outcomes are::
Correctly interpret the legal responsibilities that relate to the sale and service of alcohol
Advise patrons on the effects of alcoholic beverages and the term "standard" drink
Demonstrate knowledge of various strategies for the Responsible Service of Alcohol
Assist customers to drink within appropriate limit.
Assess and monitor the levels of intoxication of Patrons.
*** Please note due to limited places, only two registrations per club is permitted. ***
All students doing nationally recognised training need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). You can apply for or retrieve your USI number by using this link www.usi.gov.au
Once registered on tidyhq you will receive an email from CHTS providing your login details to the course.

Free outdoor group yoga sessions with a qualified instructor
Please bring your yoga mat, towel and water and wear appropriate clothing. Bookings essential and available two weeks in advance

Has your medical practitioner ever told you that you have a heart condition or have you ever suffered a stroke?
Do you ever experience unexplained pains or discomfort in your chest at rest or during physical activity/exercise?
Have you had an asthma attack requiring immediate medical attention at any time over the last 12 months?
Do you have any other conditions that may require special consideration for you to exercise?
If you have diabetes (type 1 or 2) have you had trouble controlling your blood sugar (glucose) in the last 3 months?
Do you ever feel faint, dizzy or lose balance during physical activity/exercise?
By participating in this program you acknowledge that you are physically able to engage in this activity or training provided and agree that all exercises are undertaken at your own risk.
Terms and Conditions - Please read carefully
By signing up to this program I:
(a) agree to participate in the program at my own risk and to waive and release, and will release, the City of Onkaparinga and its personnel from any claims that I may have, or may have had, but for this release arising from or in connection with my participation in Outfit Program conducted by the City of Onkaparinga;
(b) consent to the trainers, staff and other officials of the program to provide first aid to me and if required an ambulance for treatment or transfer to the nearest operating and available medical facility if I am injured as a result of my participation in the Outfit Onkaparinga Program; and
(c) consent to council using my name, image, likeness and also my performance in or of any activity at any time to promote the Healthy Active Lifestyles Onkaparinga program, by any form of media. I waive any rights I might have to or in such use of my name, image or likeness by the council. I acknowledge the council privacy policy may be found on our website www.onkaparingacity.com
