Responsible Service of Alcohol NEW ON-LINE COURSE - Completed in your own time at home *****This course is only for people volunteering in sport or active recreation clubs in the City of Onkaparinga.***** ONLY 20 SPACES AVAILABLE              Closes 21 May 2021 The RSA Course (SITHFAB202) is a legislative requirement for all persons serving alcohol. Successful completion of this RSA course will result in the participant being awarded with a recognised RSA Statement of Attainment, which must be used when applying to Consumer & Business Services (CBS) for a Responsible Person’s Badge. The learning outcomes are:: Correctly interpret the legal responsibilities that relate to the sale and service of alcohol Advise patrons on the effects of alcoholic beverages and the term "standard" drink Demonstrate knowledge of various strategies for the Responsible Service of Alcohol Assist customers to drink within appropriate limit. Assess and monitor the levels of intoxication of Patrons. *** Please note due to limited places, only two registrations per club is permitted. *** All students doing nationally recognised training need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). You can apply for or retrieve your USI number by using this link www.usi.gov.au Once registered on tidyhq you will receive an email from CHTS providing your login details to the course. President's Forum Leading a club in COVID-19 October 2020

Invitation to President's Workshop  Leading a club in COVID-19 19 OCTOBER 2020 at 6:30 - 7:30pm We usually host a breakfast for Presidents, however, due to COVID-19 this session will be hosted via Zoom.  The invitation is for Presidents or, if they are unable to attend, the Vice President We will have two guest speakers. Peter Schwennesen, President Port Noarlunga Memorial Bowling Club  Helen Cutler, President Seaford Storm Netball Club to talk about the journey their clubs have taken through the winter period.  We will be covering The lessons learnt during the closing down period and keeping club members engaged  Starting up Post COVID and managing children and parents  How they manged hygiene in the club room, outside and equipment What the challenges have been to run a bar and keeping people seated How hard is to be a Covid Marshal and making sure you have one  If you have any questions, please email oacnet@onkaparinga.sa.gov.au or call Craig Hobart (0466 922 661) or Tim White (0419 809 021).
